🛡️ AgentReady threat assessment
MAESTRO 7-layer threat model + OWASP AIVSS risk score for Firecrawl MCP, derived from its capabilities.
These scores are auto-generated from public information (the agent's own listing, docs, and repository) using the canonical OWASP AIVSS formula and the MAESTRO framework — an estimate for guidance, not a penetration test, audit, or certification. Overview
Firecrawl MCP wraps Firecrawl's crawl/scrape/extract endpoints so an agent can turn any URL or whole site into clean markdown or structured JSON, run deep research, and do batch scrapes with retries and rate limiting. Tools include scrape, crawl, map, search, and extract. Security surface: it holds a Firecrawl API key and can fetch arbitrary attacker-controlled pages whose content flows straight into the model (prompt-injection risk).
Key features
- Single-page scrape and full-site crawl to markdown
- LLM-powered structured extraction from pages
- Batch scraping with rate-limit and retry handling
Use cases
- Feed web content into RAG or research agents
- Extract structured data from many pages at scale
