Overview
OpenMontage is an AGPL-3.0 open-source, agentic video production system hosted on GitHub. The project is designed to turn an AI coding assistant into a video production studio: users describe a desired video in plain language, and the agentic workflow can support research, scripting, asset generation, editing, timeline creation, and final composition. The official repository describes 12 pipelines, 52 tools, and 500+ agent skills. It supports image-based videos and workflows that build a corpus from free stock footage and open archives, retrieve real motion clips, edit them into a timeline, and render a finished piece.
